The Premmie Knitting Club winter campaign is here!
We donate thousands of much needed knitted items annually and we also provide support by fundraising for much needed items that help hospitals support premature babies and their families.
From May until August 2025, we are encouraging as many knitting donations as possible. At PKC, we promote and accept knitting all year however there is always a high demand over the winter months.
How you can support the 2025 PKC Winter campaign:
Donate Knitting
Knit as much as possible between now and August, either send your knitting to PKC HQ as you go or donate directly to your local hospital, find out more here.

Spread the word
Spread the word about Premmie Knitting Club's winter campaign, share our website and social posts with your friends and family.
Fundraising
Support PKC in your workplace or school, either by knitting or fundraising.
Merch store
Preorder PKC fundraising clothing so we can donate much needed equipment to the hospitals we support. Preorders close Sunday 11th May 2025.

What to knit in 2025
Nationwide
Blankets
Auckland: North Shore
Needs all items — blankets, vests, beanies, booties, and cardigans.
Auckland: Middlemore
Newborn hats, blankets, fish and chip style vests.
Wellington
100% wool blankets, vests, beanies, booties, and cardigans in a variety of sizes (have asked for not very small or very big as their smallest babies are unclothed in incubators, and they do not care for babies beyond the 6 month stage).
