Over $25,000 Raised: Thank you PKC community!

Ten years ago, Premmie Knitting Club began with a simple act of care: wrapping our tiniest babies in warmth, comfort and aroha.

This year, as we celebrate 10 years of Premmie Knitting Club, we set ourselves a heartfelt goal: to raise $10,000 to support Neonatal Intensive Care Units across Aotearoa.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, just like our Peggy Square Campaign, we have gone far beyond our fundraising goal.

We have raised $25,850!

This incredible total has been made possible through the generosity of our community, including purchases from our fundraising merchandise, donations through Givealittle, private donations, and the generous support of The Ruby Effect Trust.

As part of this $25,850 total, The Ruby Effect Trust generously matched our $10,000 goal. Their support means we can provide even more equipment and furniture to hospitals right across Aotearoa, making an even greater difference to babies, whānau and the teams caring for them.

We want our wonderful community to see the difference your generosity is making. We will be keeping you up to date with how the funds raised are being used to support hospitals and NICUs across the country. Updates will be coming soon, so please keep an eye out as we share what support we are providing and where.

From our tiny volunteer team here at Premmie Knitting Club, thank you for believing in what we do, supporting our tiny babies and their whānau, and helping us make this milestone so special.

Thanks again to every one of our generous donors. Your kindness and generosity will help us make a tangible difference in hospitals across Aotearoa.

Here’s to the next chapter and to many more years of wrapping Aotearoa’s tiniest babies in warmth and aroha. 💜

Ngā mihi nui,

Courtney, Britt, Nina and Michelle
