Christchurch Local Hub Pilot
Premmie Knitting Club has knitters across New Zealand who send their donations to our club HQ in Auckland.
Our volunteers sort the knitted gems and distribute them to a range of hospitals and organisations located across the country. We would like to start collecting and distributing knitting at a local level using local hubs, organised by local volunteers.
We are launching a pilot in Christchurch to establish a new local hub to receive, sort and donate the knitting locally.
We are looking for self-starters who will take the opportunity to work with PKC HQ to launch the hub and pilot it over the next 12 months. We are recruiting for both a volunteer Hub Leader and 2-3 volunteer Hub committee members to work together at a local level.
